The Balinese Flower Ceremony

This sweet smelling ceremony, serves to cleanse your karma from the past lives that still, have a reflection in your present life.


This ceremony takes place at the home of the Balinese Healer. An assortment of various exotic flowers are gathered prior to the ceremony and they are placed to sit in large urn of water. Over time, the essence of the flower perfumes this water.
This sweet smelling water will later be used to bath and cleanse your body.


Handmade offerings are made out of natural materials and will be used for the occasion. They will be placed in various areas surrounding the shrine to create the sacred space to hold the ceremony. An assortment of colored flowers will be intentionally chosen to serve different purposes.

When you arrive,

When you arrive, you shall have a consultation with the Healer who will ask you to place your bear feet upon his. From there he will make an evaluation on your spiritual needs.

When you arrive,

He will then open the ceremony by requesting the Gods permission, for the cleansing of the karmas to take place.

When you arrive,

You will be asked to change into a Balinese ceremonial sarong, then to sit down in front of the urn filled with water and the soaking flowers.

When you arrive,

A chant will be performed by the Healer while he showers you with this sweet smelling water filled with flowers. You will be asked to pray, to transform the bad into good, while the water of a young coconut will be poured over your head for further cleansing.

When you arrive,

You will be requested to drink from this coconut water and then you will pray in gratitude.

Afterwards,

You will be offered a tri-colored, string bracelet. And prior to tying it around your wrist, it will be gently tapped on your arm to make the good luck blessing, remain. The 3 colors represent the Balinese Gods, who are to protect you after the bracelet is tied on.

Afterwards,

The colors of the bracelet will be:  White for Shiva; Red for Brahma and Black for Vishnu.

This ceremony may also be used to cleanse, those who may have black magic cast upon them.

Afterwards,

It is requested that participants that choose to attend this ceremony, wear the Balinese CeremonySarong. You will be getting wet and it will be requested that you bring a change of clothes.
