In the tropical mountains, north of Tabanan, this complex consists of 12 bungalows offering the opportunity to organize a retreat within the rice fields.

Located on two hectares of land, the property is surrounded by an abundance of nature and has an organic garden. It is an ideal location for retreat leaders seeking an intimate venue for intensive workshops or Yoga Teacher Trainings.

Being 630 meters above sea level the temperatures range from 24ºC and 28ºC, the weather is cooler than in the southern part of the island.

The property is located about 2 hours from Bali’s International Airport.

The resort distances itself from the main touristic areas allowing a rich experience of traditional Bali.

Accommodation

The bungalows are located in the valley between a river and rice fields offering stunning views.

Its gardens of ferns and tropical plants, is a magical place where you can walk, meditate or converse with participants.

Water ponds from the neighboring natural springs and fruit trees complete the magnificent journey.

The construction is made in natural wood unified with mud brick, combining Balinese carved decoration with modern elements creating coziness and comfortable.

The bed, desk and seating area are traditional furniture.

Of the 12 bungalows, 3 have two bedrooms (one double and one twin bed) and 8 are one-bedroom (all double beds), making a total of 15 rooms, separating each bungalow so that privacy and independence is available in each.

All rooms have private Balinese style bathrooms (open air and surrounded by plants), a “bale” (typical roofed Balinese bed outdoor) to meditate and to relax while enjoying the scenery.

The bungalows do not have air conditioning since the pleasant temperatures do not make it necessary.

Meals & Yoga Shala

The complex has an organic food restaurant that can hold up to 30 people.

There is a yoga room for 22 participants.

Spring Water

The property has a natural water swimming pool fed by a local mountain spring.

The water is channeled from the spring directly into the pool and then flows on to water the rice paddies.

There are no chemicals used. The purity of the mountain spring water refreshes and rejuvenates your body and soul.

ACTIVITIES

Trekking

The surroundings offers the option of excursions to the jungle, trekking up the mountains, walks through the rice fields, experiencing the culture offered at Hindu temples and bathing in the hot springs.

The regency of Tabanan is in the west part of the island. It is an area that offers an abundance of landscapes and green hills for nature lovers. To the southwest of Tabanan, pristine beaches offer a volcanic landscape with surf breaks.

Trekking

A nice little adventure in the area is to trek up through the virgin tropical forest of Bali to reach the summit of Mount Batukaru.

On the way back down the slopes of the mountain are the thermal waters from the sacred spring Penetahan Yeh Panas. Being situated between peaceful rice fields along the river Ho Yeh, this is a natural remedy from the depths of the earth.

Temples & Butterflies

Another place to visit is the Bali Butterfly Park , a research center where you can see magnificent specimens of butterflies.

Pura Luhur Batukaru is one of the major temples and pilgrimage site for Hindus in Bali. On the slopes of Mount Batukaru, it sits majestically since the 11th century. It is a sacred place. Engulfed by the microclimate of the slopes on this mountain which is often foggy and rainy adds an even more mystique quality to the environment.
