Tepi Laut Villas in North Bali

Located on the island’s furthest NW corner, this resort faces the Bali Sea, accompanied by a backdrop of nine majestic mountaintops that silhouettes the highlands.

The Balinese believe the energy of these hills connects to the powers of the Holy Bali Sea.

This is an ideal retreat space to take off your shoes, get grounded, feel the breeze, listen to the sounds from the shores, and immerse into nature, all within a serene space.

This venue offers 14 stand-alone villas, which are all well spaced out and private.

Each villa is individually owned and has its own unique style.

We have selected a certain number of villas for retreats, which can provide you a combination of up to 12 Master or Jr. Suite rooms.

Each room comes with its own bathroom. 5 of the Master Bedrooms can provide TWIN beds with a comfortable window seat and a large desk. All beds come with their own mosquito net.

Each villa has a private pool with outdoor covered recliners, a poolside gazebo, verandah, gardens, and a private dining area with a kitchenette.

Bathrooms are both indoor and outdoor accompanied by a large dressing room.

All indoor areas are air-conditioned with Wi-Fi Internet.

Other amenities include: Electronic safe; Hair Dryers; Mini-Bar; Coffee & Tea Maker

NOTE: During certain religious celebrations, you may hear the local mosque’s call to prayer.

If you are very sensitive to sounds while sleeping, we suggest that you travel with earplugs.

Getting There

Being located in Bali’s far NW corner, we recommend that the ride up be taken during the day.

If you fly in at night, we can make suggestions on where to stay.

Transportation can be arranged for you to travel up the next day to this area, which is an incredible way to experience the different landscapes that Bali has to offer.

Getting There

You will travel through winding roads bordered with rice fields, over the hills, all the way up to the northern coast.

When traveling as a group, a stop for lunch with incredible views to take pictures can be coordinated.

Yoga Shala

The high roof yoga shala measures 10m x 11 m and fits 15 to 20 with yoga mats.
15 yoga mats, blocks and bolsters are provided.

A gong is available for sound baths along with a private W/C.

The adjacent terrace is available as an additional space for intimate talks.

As you walk along the paths in the open spacious landscaped gardens of the property, you will find fish ponds, Buddha statues, trees, bright flowers, and a team of birdlife, all providing an excellent place for a quiet and peaceful stay full of meditation.

Enjoy breakfast, at your private villa while overlooking the pool and try one of the local dishes such as: Nasi goreng or Mie Goreng. Freshly made fruit juices are served throughout the day.

Or sip on a glass of local wine grown in the area, while watching the sunset on the beach with your feet in the sand.

Meals can also be served in one’s own private villa.

The nearby village is safe, and perfect to grab a bite to eat with a variety of restaurants that you can just walk to.

There are other nice hotels nearby and you can stop for lunch on the beach at any of them.

If you get past bathing in your own private pool, you can swim at the beach right in front of the property.  Unlike many areas in Bali, the water here is very calm making it a perfect spot for snorkeling.  Just a couple of meters from the shore the coral are teeming with fish, thanks to the innovative “reef-building” project that the local hotels and dive operators are running.

The casual beachside restaurant facing the bay serves a mix of western and Indonesian food.

For seafood lovers, this area is a delight! Fresh fish from the local fishermen is served every day, and local dishes such as freshly caught tuna in banana leaves can be served, amongst many other dishes.

Lounge chairs are available to those who want to spend the day soaking in the sun. Wake up prior to sunrise, and watch the many different hues of orange, red and pink from the beach gazebo.

Neighboring Bali’s Natural Park provides some incredible unspoiled scenes. Organizing a boat trip to Menjangan Island is a highlight activity. You will swim above lots of colorful marine life and corals. Sunset or sunrise boat tours can also be organized.

Take a guided hike into the national park, and see the black monkeys,  a variations of birds or a herd of deer.

A visit to a nearby Temple with a Female Priestess can be arranged for a group Balinese Blessing.

For hard core hikers, a tour to Ajen Crater on Java to see the Blue Fire is a must.
